Workshop on the warfare in the underwater domain with the help of marine robotics

The Italian Navy Petty Officers Club in Rome was the location on the 17th and 18th of April, of an introductory workshop on the theme of "the warfare in the underwater domain with the help of marine robotics", which will be subsequently developed during Seafuture 2018, to be held in La Spezia from the 19th to 23rd of June.

This is a project shared between Universities and Research Institutions together with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and strategic defence and security industries as well as the Italian Navy, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of Defence.
The two days of work developed starting from a general framework analysis regarding the conduct of anti-submarine and mine countermeasures (ASW / MCM) operations provided by the Italian Navy General Staff, an innovative and multidisciplinary 'vision' on the development of the involved specialties and related threats at the level of the Mare Nostrum and worldwide in the short, medium and long term.
During the second day, the need to enhance a shared network and a common working method was addressed, in order to optimize the excellences of the various actors involved, in function of the strategic importance of the issue.

This process of mutual exchange will be developed in the coming weeks, to end on the central days of the Seafuture 2018, when the objectives expressed by the various partners will be identified, as well as defined the timing to continue with the joint growth project. This will also benefit from the advanced bilateral meetings between companies and foreign navies that will take place during the event.
The aim is therefore to maintain the level of international competitiveness of the defence industries context at the highest level to constantly support the image and the national economy, with the hope of being able to join the European Defence Research Program for the period 2021-2027.

KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Apr – Pameran Defence Services Asia 2018 (DSA 2018)

Sepanjang pameran, TLDM turut berkongsi maklumat berkenaan pendekatan inovatif

Kompeni Infantri melaksanakan operasi pertempuran di kawasan terbina (Operation in Built-Up Area

18 RAMD PARA BERTARAF OPERASI

Sejarah Dan Pembangunan 18 RAMD

Rahman, SUK Negeri Trengganu YB Dato’ Wan Nawawi bin haji Wan Ismail,  Panglima Medan Barat TDM Lt Jen Dato’ Azizan bin Md Delin,  Panglima 2 Divisyen Dato’ Mohd Ramli bin Jaafar, Panglima 10 Bgd (Para) Datuk Tengku Muhammad Fauzi bin Tengku Ibrahim.
